Australia Tourist visa application process 

Step 1: Determine the Visa Type

  • Tourists Visa apply under the Visitor visa (subclass 600) – Tourist stream (Outside Australia). This is suitable for leisure, tourism, or visiting friends/family.

Step 2: Create an Immi Account

  • Go to the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs website

  • Create an ImmiAccount: Create account here

Step 3: Prepare Required Documents

  • Compile the required documents and prepare the Supporting Letters based on the available documents.

Step 4. Lodge the Visa Application Online

  • Log in to ImmiAccount

  • Select Visitor Visa (subclass 600) – Tourist stream

  • Fill out the application form

  • Upload all necessary documents

  • Pay the application fee (usually AUD 195)

Step 5. Biometrics Appointment (if required)

  • After submission, you may get an email asking to attend a biometric appointment at a nearby VFS Global centre

Step 6. Track Your Application

  • You can track the status in your ImmiAccount

  • Processing time is typically 3 to 6 weeks, but can vary

Step 7. Receive Visa Decision

Australia Business visa application process 

Step 1: Determine the Visa Type

  • Apply for the Visitor Visa (subclass 600) – Tourist Stream (Outside Australia).

    Evidence of polio vaccination is required for the citizens from Afghanistan, Angola, Cameroon, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Sudan and Yemen

    2. Recent 6 months Salary Slips
    3. Rental Agreements (Legal translation in English)
    4. Evidence of Family Members in the country of residence.
    5. Driving Licenses & Utility bills if any
    6. Credit card statements, bank liabilities, etc.
